Business development: not business as usual

Nothing has changed to our service delivery during corona times. We have put in place a number of steps, such as working from home, but other than that, it is very much business as usual.

Face to face contacts

It is a very different kettle of fish when it comes to business development. In order to achieve our business goals and to make good on our ambitions, there is a lot to be said for face to face meetings. With this type of meetings off the menu for the foreseeable future, it is also about the merit of human interaction and the willingness to take a different approach to ‘doing business’.

Coffee breaks

Up until the corona pandemic hit, we were frequently invited to Brussels; to name just one forum, to confer on digital building blocks and services. And coffee breaks are terribly important there. Sometimes it is not just about attending a meeting, but also about being out by the coffee machine at the right time with the right people.

From home

The show must go on. As such, we have been instrumental in the development of an innovative contribution to advance digital government at national as well as international level in recent months. All of which took place in the digital realm, from home, with freshly made, home brewed coffee. But fair is fair, there is nothing quite like face to face contact. Here is hoping we get to sip a constructive cup of vending machine coffee again some time soon.
