Connecting to Diginetwerk

Access to the national digital ecosystem

The Diginetwerk agreement framework acts as the basis for secure data exchange between Dutch public sector organisations.

Via the secure RINIS.net and the RINIS Cloud Hub, public service providers are able to easily connect and securely communicate with other public sector organisations linked via Diginetwerk.

Through RINIS, organisations can securely connect to:

  • core registers such as Personal Records Database (BRP), the Land Register and the Commercial Register;
  • European networks and services via TESTA;
  • authentication services such as DigiD and eHerkenning (the official Dutch electronic identification system for businesses and organisations);
  • benefit disbursement and various other sectoral and nationwide government services, and more.

Architecture

Diginetwerk was set up as a federated network model that connects the networks of various parties within a single, reliable ecosystem. This also enables secure connections to core registers and various eGovernment services within the RINIS portfolio. This not only facilitates connection to Diginetwerk, but also enables secure connections to core registers and various eGovernment services within the RINIS portfolio.

Technology

Users are connected to Diginetwerk via secure interfaces using standard protocols. Needless to say that monitoring, logging and technical support are all part of the service.
