KPP

The Koppelpunt Private Partijen (Private Parties Connection Point) (KPP) was purpose-developed to enable the secure and automated exchange of data between private parties and government organisations. KPP enables direct communication between applications without the need for manual intervention by users. This makes processes faster, more efficient and more reliable. The platform uses standardised protocols, including Digikoppeling and secure API connections, thereby ensuring interoperability.

The connection point promotes the digital development of public-private chains with secure, streamlined communication. Moreover, KPP supports the RINIS principle of straightforward, secure and cost-effective connections without complex administration or separate portals.

Architecture

KPP’s architecture is modular and seamlessly integrates with IRIS’s existing infrastructure. Data are exchanged via standardised and secure protocols such as Digikoppeling, bringing together centralised and decentralised components. This approach ensures reliable data transfer and effective integration with all parties’ application landscapes.

Technology

KPP facilitates automated connections between systems, reduces manual processes and in doing so ramps up efficiency. The platform has no proprietary portals or web-facing interfaces, which enhances security and simplifies the administration. In addition, complex authentication, such as via eHerkenning, is not required with KPP. Maintenance, security and updates are centrally administered by RINIS in accordance with high quality standards.
