RINIS.net

Infrastructure for secure cooperation

Confidential cooperation between public authorities demands a secure and reliable infrastructure. Which is RINIS.net’s very raison d’être: to act as a secure foundation for the controlled exchange of data between public sector organisations. RINIS.net is the technical backbone of the RINIS portfolio: a shielded, closed infrastructure for the exchange of data that is completely separate from the public internet, thereby preventing unauthorised access. In addition, RINIS.net hosts translation and routing services, as well as international connections. This exclusive environment is available only to our participants.

RINIS.net provides a higher degree of data sovereignty than Diginetwerk and offers full control over the infrastructure. This is because we manage the technical stack ourselves without relying on public cloud providers. Moreover, we have implemented network redundancy and state-of-the-art security on RINIS.net, ensuring maximum reliability and continuity. Through RINIS.net, you get to access Diginetwerk and TESTA.

Architecture

RINIS.net is a fully closed network service with a single standardised connection point. Through this connection point, participants get to use various digital services, without the need for major adjustments to their own IT architecture.

Technology

The infrastructure consists of secure physical connections, strict segmentation between zones, and advanced monitoring and logging. Implementing geo-redundancy - with systems running at physically separate locations - RINIS.net guarantees maximum availability and control. All systems are entirely administered by our in-house specialists.
